In J. L. Puche's work, drawing, stands as a territory of poetic resistance, where matter and water merge into a surface of great formal tension, the work growing at the same pace as it is destroyed. Its formal uniqueness lies in a technique that combines precision and fading, as if each stroke contained a breath that oscillates between memory and the present through the palimpsest of its layers. Each piece thus becomes a narrative loop, a cycle that exposes the beauty and fragility of human gesture in the face of mechanisms of domination. J. L. Puche's work does not represent, but rather activates a reflection on energy, resistance, and the contemporary condition of the body.

During his career, Puche has exhibited in prestigious venues like Centre Pompidou, CAC Málaga or the Sydney Opera House, where he was the only Spanish artist invited to take part in the group show 9 Hours Underground. He has also exhibited at fairs such as the YIA Art Fair (Paris) or the Basel Scope Art Show in New York and Switzerland. In the last few years, Puche has exhibited in Madrid, Istanbul, Milan, Palma de Mallorca, Brussels or Portland. He has also won several prizes and distinctions, including the international Emerging Artists Award in 2016 (Dubai) and the first prize of the International Art Award Manuel Ángeles Ortiz (Jaen University). His creations could also be seen in 2021 at the University of Jaen and Córdoba.
